NICHOLAS CAGE AND THE RAD SEEDS

Recorded during gaps in filming for his seminal work,  2006's 'Wicker Man', Cage wanted to recreate the sound of the bees that haunted him in his dreams. But these weren't real bees, they were digital bees added in post-production. 

Cage realised while taking lo-fi selfies on his beloved DMG-01 that he had the perfect tool for his creative output, and ranks this just below 'USS Indianapolis: Men Of Courage' as his most carefree and whimsical work.

9 tracks of Noise // Melodic Noise // Drone all created by his bitter fingers.

LCR013 - Brighton Ghoul Soundtrack

NEW RELEASE : BRIGHTON GHOUL SOUNDTRACK

We are on it this month! Our newest release is the soundtrack to the (now canned) video game 'Brighton Ghoul'. 

The game itself was due to be a kind of endless runner featuring the little fella above, but although the game is now gone, this little treat of a soundtrack still survives and deserves a release.

 On his second release, he is really pushing what can be achieved with the 3 channels available on Trippy-H. A real step up from his first EP, and it may well be my favourite thing I have released so far...

So I never planned this label as a vanity project for me, but I was mucking about with some Xmas stuff for a laugh and thought I would share it with you.... It's a little thank you for all supporting this nonsense.

LITTLE PENGUIN - LITTLE PENGUIN GOES POP EP

The year is 2007 and a man from Southend on Sea decided he'd quite like to play a local electronica night that had just started in a local pub. He'd never played an instrument or written a song but he loved his Game Boy. After the 12th attempt he managed to win the shooter game and access the mighty Trippy H sequencer on his Game Boy Camera. Here is his very first attempts at writing songs (with a little added stylophone) Now writing and performing under the name Pancake Promises he is delighted and honoured to present his first experiments in music on his favourite medium of floppy disk on the worlds premiere Trippy H record label. Little Penguin Artwork by the mighty Kai Nobuko.
